Jun 18, 2018

TAMPA, FL: ProV International Inc. is pleased to announce Matthew Hooper as the new Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) to drive organizational performance and growth for ProV and its clients worldwide. ProV extends a warm welcome to Matthew, who brings with him over 20 years of experience in enterprise IT marketing and sales.

Ranked as one of the top “influencers” amongst ITSM, ITIL, project management and governance professionals, Matthew has huge following for his prolific blogging, podcast, video series, and award-winning speaking engagements. His ability to engage organizations on digital transformation, innovation, and DevOps has made him an internationally sought-after executive.

Matthew began his career at Modus Link in 1994, where he put on multiple hats from help desk to IT executive. His ingenuity helped him manage multiple data and call center operations across North America, Europe, Asia and Australia. He grew to be responsible for all aspects of service delivery and service support, including help desk and desktop support teams, infrastructure and hosting services, as well as delivering 5-9’s availability for a global ASP hosting service. Joining SoftSense in 2000 as a Chief Technical Officer (CTO), Matthew helped build the Value Added Reselling (VAR) business with Mercury Interactive and Compuware.  Here he delivered solutions around ITSM, performance engineering and testing, event management and enterprise infrastructure monitoring for clients like One Beacon Insurance, Tyco Electronics, Cisco Inc. and The Hartford Insurance Group.

In 2004 he went on to co-found Vigilant Enterprise Solutions Inc., an HP, Compuware and CA reseller focused on strategic operational consulting services to Chief Information Officer (CIO's) of various industries including insurance, retail banking, retail and healthcare.  Growing Vigilant to become Compuware partner of the year in 2006 & 2007 and one of CA’s largest license volume resellers on the US East coast, Matthew led the acquisition of Vigilant by Inforonics in 2009.

Serving as the CMO for Inforonics, Matthew focused on bringing new services to the Tier1 & Tier2 managed service provider outsourcing market, leveraging ITIL and other ITSM frameworks for transparency and transformation for excellence in service management. He also served as a PR and Marketing Chair for the local Boston chapter of SIM (Society of Information Management) between 2010 and 2014.  In 2013 Matthew joined the founding team of Boston based ServiceNow reseller Acorio, where he served as the VP of Strategy, building the marketing and sales team.

In 2015 he joined software vendor Ivanti (Formerly HEAT & LANDESK) as ITSM Product Evangelist and the Director of ITXM sales (Americas).  Here Matthew led the global thought leadership and direct Americas sales management of the ITSM, ITAM and Identity Management product lines, which supported the increased position within the Gartner Magic Quadrant, and triple digit revenue growth year-on-year.

As Chief Revenue Officer, Matthew will lead the sales and marketing organization as ProV builds its Process Automation expertise in new global markets.  Speaking about his new role in the ProV team, Matthew stated, “It is an interesting time for IT, and ProV finds itself in a prime position to pick up market share due to its strategic combination of on-shore/ off-shore models that delivers customers with the desired results minus the traditional high cost of enterprise applications. ProV can deliver outcomes, not just consulting.” He went on to add, “We can utilize our expertise and improve client’s operational processes by leveraging leading automation platforms like ServiceNow and IFS through the ‘digital transformation experience’ and establish ProV as a truly global brand”.

CEO Ajit Nair shared his optimism and added, “As we continue our vision of connecting industries through collaborative technologies, we’re thrilled to welcome Matthew Hooper as our Chief Revenue Officer.” He added, “Matthew has a proven track record of growing and driving sales performance for fast growing companies, and he’s going to help us expand our solutions globally. His background and experience in technology, product and sales leadership are the perfect addition to our team as we accelerate our growth plans.”

His thoughts resonate with ProV’s expansion route in a bid to boost growth. Over the past three years ProV has been investing in strategic locations across the globe with new offices opened in Germany, Denmark, and South America to build a truly global service delivery model for the maximum benefits of its clients. The addition of a new CRO with extensive experience in global markets highlights ProV’s ambition to break through barriers and bring technology closer to everyone.
