Head of Global Shared Services (GSS)

We are looking for an experienced Head of Global Shared Services (GSS) to drive and steer the build and development of our internal Global Shared Services globally in our company. You will be the one to devise the company’s Service and Shared Services Strategy and ensure that all systems, processes necessary to support its operations and objectives are in place.

You will be leading the global GSS department based in Chennai India, reporting to the COO of our company.

You as our Head of GSS must have a solid Shared Services background and consistently keep up-to-date with advancements of the field. Apart from your education and experience, you must have every quality of a leader and a strong strategic and business acumen.

The goal is to ensure that Global Shared Services adds the maximum value to our company to facilitate the success of our business.

Pflichtkenntnisse

Responsibilities

· Set objectives and strategies for the department

· Set standards and build our GSS for Finance, legal, marketing, IT, PMO, Sales Operations

· Select and implement suitable technology to streamline all internal operations and help optimize their strategic benefits

· Design and customize technological systems and platforms to improve customer experience

· Plan the implementation of new systems and processes to provide guidance and support to staff within the organization

· Direct and organize the departments and attached organization to support the companies global growth and sustainability

· Analyze the costs, value and risks of to advise management and suggest actions

· Proven experience as Head of GSS or similar managerial role

· Excellent knowledge of IT systems and infrastructure

· Solid understanding of data analysis, budgeting and business operations

· Superior analytical and problem-solving capabilities

· A strong strategic and business mindset

· Excellent organizational and leadership skills

· Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities

· BSc/BA in computer science, engineering or relevant field; MSc/MA will be preferred

· Ideally you have 5+ years of experience in a similar role

· 5+ years of knowledge in designing processes and customer satisfaction
