MANILA, Philippines -- United States-based outsourcing
and consulting services provider ProV International is
looking at moving a majority of its operations from the US,
The Netherlands and the United Kingdom to the Philippines in
the coming years as part of its expansion plans.
The company provides an entire list of IT-related outsourced
services such as staff augmentation, software development,
manpower training, customer relations management, data
center management, network security and data warehousing.
Their main target firms are retailers, schools and
government agencies primarily from the United States.
ProV International co-founder Jim Lynch told reporters in
the Philippines that they hope to migrate much of their
services to the Philippines, which means they would be
getting more people. Lynch said they are hoping to get about
500 people in the Philippines by the end of the year.
Part of their program is to get software engineers and
consultants and train them in the latest software
certifications in order to provide services to foreign
firms. |
