Origin of ProV International
In 2001, Mr. Ajit Nair (Founder & CEO of
Aces International) formed a strong business relationship
with Mr. James Lynch (Founder & CEO of Executive Rainmakers,
a sales consulting corporation).
In 2003, after Aces International was sold to a technology
giant, Mr. Ajit Nair started a new business venture. The
vision was to establish an IT services company committed to
rapid deliveries and long-term customer relationships. The
company was originally called Provia International, which
was changed to ProV International.
Mr. Nair’s vision for ProV was to build
on his previous success and client relationships in the
staff augmentation business to develop a global workforce
with the intention to provide end-to-end IT services for
enterprise clients, while leveraging the low cost off-shore
delivery model. In 200X ProV opened its headquarters in
Tampa, Florida.
ProV Philippines
In developing the business plan for ProV, Mr. Nair
evaluated options for the location of ProV’s off-shore
operations. India was still the primary force, by a large
margin, but there have been signs that wage inflation and
staff retention issues have begun to force organizations to
look to alternative sources for low cost skilled labor.
Philippines was high on the list of alternative countries
for off-shore efforts, with solid literacy and language
skills being a primary selling point as well as financial
incentives for attracting new IT businesses.
In November 2006, ProV International opened its off-shore
delivery center in the heart of Manila, Philippines. 2007
was a year of building the infrastructure and processes
needed to be a competitive off-shore services provider. By
the end of 2007, ProV International Philippines has expanded
to 100 employees and is looking to have over 400 employees
by end of 2008.
ProV International – Today
